This overview summarises the terms for using this website and the services offered through it. For ticket purchases and accommodation, the terms of the respective operators (Axess online shop and the Sporthotel) apply in addition and take precedence in case of conflict.

Tickets & cable cars

Lift passes and experience tickets are purchased via the Axess online shop; its terms and the transport and usage conditions of Semmering Hirschenkogel Bergbahnen GmbH apply. A deposit may apply for keycards (amount at reception). Operating hours may vary by weather and season.

Accommodation (Sporthotel)

Accommodation contracts with the Sporthotel am Semmering are governed by the Austrian Hotel Contract Conditions (ÖHVB). Booking directly via the website secures the best rate.

Cancellation

Hotel: cancellation terms apply as per your booking confirmation or the Sporthotel’s terms. Groups: cancellation terms on request. Tickets: the cancellation and refund rules of the Axess shop or the cable cars apply (e.g. in case of operating restrictions).

Prices & payment

All prices are in euros including statutory VAT. Online payment is processed via the payment services of the Axess shop or the hotel booking system.

Use & liability

Use of the facilities (slopes, bike park, ropes park, mountain cart, etc.) is subject to the respective usage rules and at your own responsibility; safety requirements (e.g. helmet obligation in the bike park, minimum age/height) must be observed.

Law & jurisdiction

Austrian law applies. The place of jurisdiction is, where legally permissible, Wiener Neustadt.

The operators’ full, legally binding terms take precedence; individual detailed provisions are being added on an ongoing basis.
