New kids course: Die Waldmaus
Just for the littlest ones — ages 3–8, from 90 cm (up to approx. 120 cm): the new Die Waldmaus course invites climbing, exploring & fun. Tickets at the valley lift office or the self-service machine at the top station.
The higher the level, the harder & longer. Courses freely chosen & repeatable. Courses 1–6: not permitted under 6 — for the littlest (3–8) there is the Waldmaus. Rec. supervision 1:10.

Good to know
7 courses — height, age & supervision
The park has 7 courses on different levels — the higher, the harder and longer. Courses 1–6 are not permitted under 6 — for the littlest (3–8) there is the Waldmaus.
Course 1 The Hirschi — min. 110 cm (reach 160): ages 6–13 accompanied by an adult from the ground (rec. 1:10); from 14 unaccompanied.
Courses 2 The Red Panda · 3 The Squirrel · 4 The Eagle — min. 110 cm (reach 160): ages 6–13 accompanied (rec. 1:10); from 14 with ground supervision; from 18 unaccompanied.
Courses 5 Hare · 6 Fox — min. 140 cm (reach 180): ages 9–13 accompanied; from 14 accompanied; from 18 unaccompanied.
Course 7 The Waldmaus (new 2026) — near-ground course for the littlest: Fox 1 & 2, zigzag, climbing wall, log & rope bridges (platform heights 0.73–1.49 m). Courses freely chosen & repeatable.
Schedule, times & gear
Allow about 3 hours for all courses & the Flying Fox. Last briefing 15:15; for safety all activities must finish by 16:30 (cable car runs until 17:00). Tickets are sold at the valley lift office and right at the top station (ticket machine) — in case you are already up. Full safety gear (harness, helmet, belay system) & briefing included; sturdy shoes and comfortable clothing recommended. Closed in thunderstorms.
Snack bench
The snack station up in the treetops at 6 m — a bite with a view over the forest.
Chill lounge
A dedicated relax zone in the ropes park — hanging nests and loungers to catch your breath between courses. Not to be confused with the snack bench: two separate areas.
Opening hours & NÖ Card
Summer season (spring to autumn): Thursday to Sunday, daily during holidays. With the Lower Austria Card: free entry once per summer season (redeem at the lift till or up top, no reservation needed — redeeming at the till recommended).
School trips
Strengthen the class bond: ~3–4 hrs incl. briefing, bookable Mon–Fri (reservation required). Combine with lunch at the Liechtensteinhaus (special school menus) & mountain cart. Recommended from age 8 — younger ones to the Hirschi playground next door.
Kids’ birthdays — prices & inclusions
€159 flat for 4 children (from 110 cm),€29 per additional child,€32 birthday cake (optional). Included: entry & gear, supervision (approx. 2–2.5 hrs guided climbing), birthday buffet + 1 drink per child at the Liechtensteinhaus, small gift for the birthday child. A parental consent form is required for kids climbing without parents.

Frequent questions
How many courses does the ropes park have?
Seven: Hirschi, Red Panda, Squirrel, Eagle, Hare, Fox — and new for 2026, the Wood Mouse (“Waldmaus”). The higher the level, the harder and longer; all freely chosen and repeatable.
What height do I need for which course?
Courses 1–4: at least 110 cm (reach height 160 cm). Courses 5–6 (Hare & Fox): at least 140 cm (reach height 180 cm).
Can children climb on their own?
Ages 6–13 climb accompanied by an adult (recommended 1:10), from 14 ground supervision is enough, from 18 you’re on your own. A parental consent form is needed for climbing without parents.
How much time should I allow?
About 3 hours for all courses plus the Flying Fox. Last briefing at 3:15 pm; for safety everything finishes by 4:30 pm — the cable car runs until 5 pm.
Is the gear included?
Yes — harness, helmet, belay system and briefing are all in the ticket. Bring sturdy shoes and comfortable clothing; the park closes in thunderstorms.
When is the ropes park open?
In the summer season (spring to autumn) Thursday to Sunday, daily during holidays. NÖ Card holders get one free entry per summer season — best redeemed at the lift counter.
What do the combo tickets cost?
Ropes park + up-and-down ride from €24 (up to age 9) to €48 (adults); the All-In-Ticket with lift and mountain cart is €55 instead of €87 separately.
Can I take a break in between?
Yes — at the snack station up in the treetops at 6 m, or in the chill lounge to unwind.
How do I host a kids’ birthday here?
