Good to know
Where do I get the mountaincart?
With your mountain-cart ticket you ride the cable car up to the top station. At the top you pick up your cart and start the roughly 3 km descent into the valley — after each run you take the cable car back up. Bring a helmet or rent one on site.
Track & ride time
Almost 3 km from the top station — meadow bends, tracks, steep curves, seesaws & rollers. Some obstacles have an easy bypass. Depending on pace a run takes about 15–25 minutes; multiple runs possible.
Requirements
From 130 cm height (physical fitness required), one person per cart only — regardless of age. Smaller children cannot ride on a lap. Maximum body weight: 100 kg.
Gear & safety
Helmet mandatory — bring your own or rent on site (valley till / mountain shop). Sturdy footwear required. The Bikepark Semmering terms of use apply.
Tickets & NÖ Card
Available cards: mountain-cart taster card, hike-up mountain-cart card, 2-run points card plus Jump & Ride and the All-In-Ticket. Buy at the valley/top station or online (not all cards are available online). The NÖ Card does not include the mountain-cart ride, but card holders get a special rental rate.

Frequent questions
How long is the mountain-cart track?
Almost 3 km from the top station — meadow bends, tracks, steep curves, seesaws and rollers. Depending on your pace a run takes 15–25 minutes; multiple runs are possible.
Is there a weight limit?
Yes, a maximum body weight of 100 kg — and exactly one person per cart, physical fitness required.
Do I have to take every obstacle?
No — some obstacles have an easy bypass. You set the pace.
Which mountain-cart tickets are there?
The taster card (ride up + 1 run, €34/30/21), the hike-up card (walk up, €21/19/17), the 2-run points card (€56/54/38) plus Jump & Ride (€41) and the All-In-Ticket.
Where do I buy cart tickets?
At the valley or top station and online — note that not every card is available online.
Is the cart ride included in the NÖ Card?
No — but card holders get a special rental rate (surcharge €19/17/16), redeemable at the main counter in the valley.
