Cross-country & ski touring — details
Cross-country: two trails run in quiet natural surroundings at the foot of the mountain — deliberately not machine-made, so they depend on natural snow. The Johannesloipe (4 km) starts at the valley station of the 4-seater chairlift; the Liechtenstein panorama trail (7 km) runs above the Südbahnhotel along the foot of the Pinkenkogel & Ochner. Ski touring: skinning up is permitted at the edge of the piste during operating hours — not during the operating break (4–6 pm), nor before opening or after closing. Good to know: the cable cars’ car park is free, and you don’t need a ticket for the ascent.
