Like real gold diggers: pan sparkling treasures from the water with a gold pan — a highlight in the Hirschi playground.
Summer attraction · season approx. May–November. Closed in winter — on the mountain: skiing, tobogganing & night operation.
Available at the Bergshop machine, from the ropes-park staff and at the lift counter.

Treasure hunt on the mountain
At the gold-panning station by the Hirschi playground, little (and big) treasure hunters grab a pan and sift glittering stones and “gold” from the water. Every find can be taken home.

Frequent questions
How much does gold panning cost?
A bag of gemstone sand is €6 — the gold pan is included.
Where do I get the sand bags?
From the vending machine in the mountain shop, from the ropes-park staff or at the valley lift counter.
How does gold panning work?
Sand into the sieve, swirl it in the water basin of the two-channel station until the glittering stones appear — or pan the classic way with the gold pan.
Can we keep what we find?
Yes — every find goes home with you.
Where exactly is the gold-panning station?
On the path up to the Hirschi playground by the top station — with the playground (free entry) and the marble run right next door.
When is the station running?
During summer operation — i.e. within the gondola’s summer operating hours.
